About Me

Cynthia practises family law with experience, knowledge and compassion. Cynthia will help you determine your goals as well as the best procedure to attain those goals, including negotiation of a separation agreement, mediation or a court application. She has a Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation from the University of Waterloo, which has increased her ability to negotiate on behalf of her clients. She has attended court on behalf of clients throughout Ontario, regularly appearing in Stratford, Goderich, Walkerton, Owen Sound, Guelph and Kitchener.

Cynthia is a knowledgeable and efficient real estate lawyer whose practice includes residential purchases and sales, refinances, as well as farm purchases and sales.

Wills and powers of attorney are necessary so that your affairs are in order for your loved ones. Cynthia has been helping clients with their estate planning for over twenty-five years. She can work with you, and your accountant if necessary, to fulfill your objectives in your estate planning.

Cynthia can also help with the administration of estates, providing as much assistance as your personal situation requires.

Cynthia grew up in Oshawa, Ontario, earned her B.A. (Honours) from York University, Glendon College, and earned her LL.B. from Queen’s University. She was called to the Bar in 1995 and has been practising law in Listowel, Ontario since then.

Cynthia has two children and lives in Listowel with her husband.

Cynthia has always been active in volunteer work, starting as early as high school when she volunteered at the Distress Centre. In Listowel, Cynthia was involved with the Kinette Club of Listowel and is a past-president of the club. She was also on the Board of Directors for Community Living North Perth and North Perth Violence Against Women. Cynthia is currently a member of the Bench and Bar Committee for the County of Perth and a member of Listowel’s 100 Women.
